Dive Missoula is a local dive shop bringing the world of scuba to Montana. Formerly known as Missoula Scuba and Snorkel, the business had a strong community foundation but struggled with an outdated brand and inconsistent online presence. Many potential divers felt hesitant to trust the business simply because the branding didn’t reflect the quality of the team behind it. Our challenge was to create a brand and digital experience that not only built trust, but also inspired new divers to take the plunge.

Making scuba accessible in Montana
The shift from Missoula Scuba and Snorkel to Dive Missoula was more than a name change — it was a transformation. The new name feels bold, memorable, and actionable, making the brand approachable to younger audiences while still welcoming seasoned divers. We built a brand identity that balances professionalism with a sense of fun and adventure, allowing the shop to feel both trustworthy and exciting. The refreshed logo system draws inspiration from water, movement, and the spirit of exploration, creating a versatile mark that works across gear, signage, and digital platforms.
Diving into digital
We designed and developed a new website that brings the brand to life online. Built with clarity and usability in mind, the site highlights Dive Missoula’s offerings — from certification courses and youth programs to travel experiences around the globe. Photography, bold colors, and clear calls-to-action make the site feel professional and easy to navigate, ensuring that new customers can confidently book courses and trips.
Extending the experience
To round out the rebrand, we designed a full suite of collateral including brochures, gift certificates, digital ads, and social templates. Each piece extends the Dive Missoula identity, creating a cohesive brand experience whether someone encounters the shop in person, on social media, or through a printed handout.
Designing from the inside out
Because our team dives ourselves, we were able to fully immerse in the project — understanding the unique challenges of diving in Montana, the excitement of global dive trips, and the importance of safety and trust. That deep knowledge shaped everything from the tone of voice to the logo design, ensuring that the brand feels authentic to both first-time divers and lifelong enthusiasts.
